Been in the healthcare field for almost 20 years, mostly worked in a clinic and hospitals ( Philippines and Saudi Arabia). Cared for elderly, persons with disability. Duties and responsibilities are: ? Responsible for basic patient care related including patient hygiene and activity of daily living. ? Peforming basic: o Bathing the patients o Oral hygiene o NGT / Gastrostomy tube / Oral feeding o Vitals signs o Blood glucose monitoring o Wound dressing o Lifting, transferring patients from wheelchair to bed or vice versa. ? Accompanying patients to and from other units such as X-rays or clinic appointments. ? Escort and help patients to the bathroom or give bedpans to patients unable to mobilize. ? Remove dirty linen and empty patient’s lockers on discharge. Make the empty bed after cleaning. ? Documenting pertinent data. ? Communicate effectively and reports pertinent information. ? Maintain confidentiality, safe and clean environment.
