Get Started

CareProfessional.ca is a website that allows families and care professionals to connect with one another online to discuss childcare, home care, housekeeping, tutor and pet care jobs.

We also provide payroll services, LMIA and work permit assistance to families.


Please note: Since we are not an agency, we don’t reach out to potential matches for you. All users are encouraged to browse the site of their choice themselves and do a free search to see if the site is a good fit for their family needs.

If you haven't already registered and you want to set up a profile, click on the "Get Started" button located on the top right hand corner of our site. Here you can either choose to "Post your Profile" or "Post a Job". You will then fill out a form and your account will be created.

If you already have an account but do not have a profile yet, simply go to "Create Your Profile/Job" from your Home page when logged in, and complete the form.

Employers need to subscribe to one of our plans to have their profiles published.

Our service is free for care professionals to use. Please post your profile today!

As per our Terms of Service, memberships are non-refundable. However, they can be cancelled at any time and if there is any time remaining on your subscription when you decide to cancel, you will still have all the features of an upgraded account for the remaining time you paid for.

Manage Your Account

If you still did not receive our email, please check your junk / spam folder to make sure it didn't get filtered out by your email provider.

To edit your current profile, go to "Edit Profile" from your Home page and click the "Edit" links to each section you would like to edit. Make sure to click the "Update Profile" button at the right top of the page to save your changes.

No. As per the Terms of Service, members are prohibited from sharing their login information from any other individual. If someone you know is interested in using the site, please feel free to refer them!

If you'd like to unsubscribe to future emails, please click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the original email we sent you. Or kindly contact us at info@careprofessional.ca to remove you from our mailing list.

Find A Match

Check your Inbox - Your account has a message system built in. Messages will be delivered to your Inbox, and unless you have indicated otherwise, you will get a reminder in your own personal email inbox as well.

Search for Jobs - Once you're logged into your account, go to the search page and either select your city name or enter your postal code to see who is near you. New jobs are posted daily, so login regularly to keep up to date.

For each member’s security, personal contact information is not displayed on the profile.

All of your messages will be saved in your Inbox so you can easily access them at any time. If you would like, you are welcome to exchange email addresses with an individual after you make initial contact through the site from your Inbox message.

Find the closest area to you and increase the radius to cover your city/town (or as close as possible). Make sure to specify in your description or your headline where you are located to minimize confusion.

Care Professional can enter any additional languages they can speak in their profile and you can also select any language preferences you have in your profile.

By listing the languages you desire in your profile, care professional that meet this qualification are likely to contact you, whereas others may not if they don’t meet your needs. Keep in mind – requiring an additional language can limit your results.

Payments & Subscriptions

If you haven't registered an account with us yet, please click on "Get Started" from the top right-hand corner of the site. You can "Post a Job" if you are seeking a care professional. Once you have completed the form, you can select one of our subscriptions that best suit you.

If you have already registered, but haven't subscribed to a plan yet, simply login to your account and go to your "Dashboard" and click on "Pick Plan" button. You will then have the option to choose from the available plans. 

All subscriptions do not automatically renew whether you are on the weekly, monthly, or yearly plan. If there is any time remaining on your subscription when you decide to cancel, you will still have all the features of an upgraded account for the remaining time you paid for.

Safety and Privacy

While we do go to certain measures to ensure that the content of the profiles are appropriate, we perform no background checks, reference checks, or screening of the members. Within each profile, there is an opportunity for the individual to list if they have their Criminal Record Check, First Aid, CPR, and we always encourage you to check references. The decision to hire someone is at the sole discretion of the family/individual seeker.

We recommended that you submit some documented proof as evidence (if possible) so we can investigate their account further. 

All reports are kept confidential!

Mature Content (18+) is a filter for providers and seekers who are offering or looking for adult-themed services.

However, as laid out in our Terms of Service, any content that includes potential sexual harassment, sexual trafficking and prostitution will get automatically flagged and reported to Careprofessional.ca
