JOB DESCRIPTION Support and facilitation in areas as follows: • Explore opportunities related to personal interests • Facilitating, assisting with and encouraging development of independent living skills • Hands-on activities such as simple meal preparation & personal hygiene • Follow the instructions & goals set by the family • Completion of all necessary documentation and paperwork including but not limited to timesheets and communication notes QUALIFICATIONS • Preference will be given towards those with applicable previous work experience • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Behavioural experience • Personal care experience and/or education • Strong verbal & written communication skills • A warm and motivating personality The successful candidate will be required to complete a Criminal Record Check and a Vulnerable Sector Check to be considered for this position; as well as First Aid & CPR.
